The Troubles Files - GB & NI Monthly Subscription
Most people who read Troubles non-fiction read it alone. This ends that.
Every month, one carefully selected Troubles non-fiction title arrives at your door, tracked and dispatched from Belfast Books. We purchase the full allocation the moment we select a title, securing the stock before it disappears. Before your book arrives, you receive a reading brief covering the sourcing, the silences, the author's position, and exactly what to look for on the way through. Then you join the Armchair Council: a live 90-minute session where the book answers for itself, led by Mr Books from Belfast Books, with occasional invited expert guests.
This is not a book subscription. It is a room that has not existed until now: serious readers examining this history with the rigour it deserves, without a sectarian, political, or religious scoreboard.
Each month brings a different title, chosen from over twelve years of serious Troubles non-fiction bookselling: books that have gone out of print, books that customers have hunted for years, books that reward a focused, attentive read.
Membership includes:

- A reading brief before every dispatch
